The purpose of the White Rose Scholarships is to help outstanding young women in science and engineering pursue graduate studies and emerge as the leaders of tomorrow.
- 14 scholarships of $50,000 each
- A leadership and mentoring program
- Female students (Canadian citizens or permanent residents) graduating from an engineering program who wish to pursue graduate studies in engineering, in Canada or abroad, are eligible
The Claudette-MacKay-Lassonde Excellence Scholarship supports female undergraduate engineering students whose engagement lights the way for the next generation. The scholarship recognizes a student who demonstrates leadership, academic excellence and significant community engagement.
- One $25,000 scholarship
- Undergraduate students (Canadian citizens or permanent residents) in their 2nd or 3rd year of engineering studies are eligible
The white rose is a poignant symbol honouring the memory of the 14 young women whose lives were tragically lost on December 6, 1989 at Polytechnique Montréal. In 2014, our institution established the White Rose Scholarships program as a forward-looking tribute to their legacy. This program aim to empower the next generation of women in science and engineering, helping them achieve their full potential.
